WARD Florence (Flo) Formerly of 124 Cardiff Road, Newport It is with great sadness we announce the death of Florence Ward on November 12th in the tender, loving care of Summerhill Nursing Home, with her son and daughter at her bedside. Aged 102, Flo was the devoted wife of her late husband Bert, cherished Mum of Christine and Philip, fondest Mum-in-law of Stephanie and Ralph and treasured Nan of Peter, Allison and Christopher, her 6 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Flo was an inspiration and touched the lives of so many during her long life. She was so loved by all her family and will live in our hearts forever. Resting in the care of Tovey Bros, 9/11 Cardiff Road until the funeral service on Friday 27th November. The thanksgiving service for Flo's life will take place at St Mary Magdalene Church, Goldcliff at 2.15pm followed by interment in the churchyard. Friends are invited to join the family in The Farmers Arms for refreshments after the service. Family flowers only please but donations will be gratefully accepted for the Alzheimers Society and may be given at the service or sent c/o Tovey Bros, 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport, NP20 2EH. www.toveybros.co.uk
