PROVIS (Patricia Margaret) 1929 - 2016 Following major cancer surgery and an unstinting struggle to enjoy the last weeks of her life with all of her family, Pat slipped away on Monday the 13th June. Adored wife of the late Arthur Provis, beloved sister of Jean, Pat was an amazing mother to Lyn, Kate and Mark who she loved fiercely. A superb grandmother to Allida, Phillip, Lizzie, Lucy, Dominic, Dyfrig, Huw, Max and Freya. Wonderful great grandmother to Austin, Libby Mae, Betsi and Jay. Pat enjoyed being part of a large family and always relished contact with her nephews and nieces. Pat was unswervingly loyal, had great integrity and humour, and believed in facing up to any challenges put before her. She was a reliable, trustworthy, supportive friend; always generous with her time and a good neighbour to all. Latterly, as a member of the Linden Singers, she found great comfort and friendship amongst her fellow choristers. The funeral is at the Gwent Crematorium, at 11.30 a.m. on Friday the 1st July.
