Schools support our initiative

SUPPORT is growing for our Eat Local, Eat Healthy campaign.

Chairs of governors of many local schools have already joined up in support, saying they would like to see more local produce on the menus at their schools.

Schools so far include Undy Primary School, Overmonnow Primary School, Monmouth, Shirenewton Junior and Infants, Llanover Primary School, Archbishop Rowan Williams Primary School, Portskewett, Usk Primary School, Magor Primary School, Raglan Primary School, Llanfair Kilgeddin Primary School, Osbaston Junior School, Monmouth and Mounton House special school.

And, Cllr David Waring, Leader of Monmouthshire County Council, says he is 100 per cent behind the campaign.
