School teacher charged with sex offences

A MUSIC teacher from Monmouth School has been charged with sex offences with boys under the age of 16 years.

Christian Morris, aged 28, appeared before magistrates at Haverfordwest and pleaded not guilty to indecent assault and common assault on two males under the age of 16.

Morris has been suspended from school since the incident first came to light during the summer. Morris was released on bail after giving magistrates a residential address in Haverfordwest.

During term time he lived in school accommodation and was a boarding house master in the Hereford Road. CID Officers attended these premises in August and took away computers for examination. Morris is due to appear before magistrates on September 24.
