Free Press website is a hit!

THE popularity of the Free Press website serving our three titles in Abergavenny, Chepstow and Monmouth continues to grow, according to latest figures.

Statistics for the month of December reveal that the thisismonmouthshire website is now used by more than 1,000 unique users, representing a 25 percent growth in the last quarter of 2003.

December's figure of 1,041 unique users is the highest we have recorded since the site was launched in June.

We have also had a growing amount of feedback from former Monmouthshire residents now living outside the county or even abroad who have told us how they keep up to date with the town by visiting the website.

As well as the latest news and sport, which is updated weekly on a Wednesday, there's a what's on section, information services and a growing classified advertising area.

You can also send in letters to the editor via the website and order photographic reprints. During 2004 there are plans to improve the site further so make sure you log on.
