Rory Prettyjohn seems to have hit top form for his club league leaders Tintern Abbey.
He scored a hat-trick again for the second week running, with Wayne Duffield and Chris Lewis scoring the others as they defeated Portskewett A 5-1 away from home. Gareth James netted for Portskewett.
Underwood remain hot on Tintern's heels with a 3-1 away win at Asda, Kurt Thompson (2) and David Rees the Underwood scorers, Stephen Swallow scored Asda's consolation goal.
Tippling Philosopher quickly got back to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 away win against Chepstow Town. Leighton McEwan scored a brace and Andy Hunt the other to keep the Tippling third in the league.
Caldicot Town proved too strong for Monmouth Town a, they beat them 4-1 with goals from Gareths Heywood and Huntley, Ray Jeremiah and Adrian Porter.
Finally Undy Athletic A poor run continued, they lost 7-3 at home to Sudbrook C/C A, Richard Donovan (2) and Allan Hobby the Undy scorers.
The Division 2 championship is heating up with its third different league leader in as many weeks, this time Chepstow Athletic take their turn at the top after an easy 7-0 home win against Bulwark.

Caldicot Castle A slipped up away to an ever improving Monmouth Town B, Monmouth beat them 2-0 with gaols from Adam Cleaves and Mike Beeks.
Thornwell Burnt Barn moved up to second spot with a 3-1 away win at Caldicot Castle B, Chris Adams the Castle scorer.
Underwood B continued their role as the entertainers this season, this time it was 4-3 home win over Mathern Wanderers. James Jackson, Stuart Truckle, Keiron Stevens and Kyle Gettings the Underwood scorers, while Daniel Windos, James Davies and Paul Kelly scored for Mathern.
Finally an almost veteran Undy Athletic B team beat Sudbrook C/C B 2-0, they were helped with goals from two of their younger players George Jones and Joe Rees.
