Cattle market plans go on show

LOCAL people are invited to view the proposed plans for the cattle market site in Abergavenny between 1pm and 7pm on Wednesday 25 February, at the Council Chamber in the Town Hall.

Planning officers from Monmouthshire County Council's development control section will also be there so that members of the public can ask questions about the proposals and find out how they can make comments on the proposed outline planning application.

George Ashworth, head of planning at Monmouthshire, said: "As the scheme involves significant proposals for the town centre, we felt that it was important to provide local people with an opportunity to come along and see for themselves the type of development being proposed, and advise on how they can formally comment on the proposals."
