Win a game for your mobile phone

USM, the South Wales mobile phone company, has teamed up with the Free Press to offer our readers the chance to win one of 50 games.

Provided that your phone is compatible with the game you want to download, should you win, the game will be yours, free of charge.

Pontypridd-based USM is unlike any other mobile phone download company.

Until now, in order to receive downloadable items, a premium rate number has needed to be called.

USM has removed the need to ring these numbers and instead its system uses card vouchers.

These can be purchased from many leading retail outlets. Once the card has been bought the user simply scratches off the panel on the back to reveal a pin number.

This pin number is then text, along with the reference number from the front of the card to USM.

Within a few minutes a text will be received back from USM. The user will then need to connect briefly to the internet through their phone and the game will then be automatically downloaded to the phone and stored in its memory.

All of the items that are available for download from USM can be seen on their website, www.usmfun.com.

There are over 250 games on offer from classics such as Tetris and a modern Space Invaders game to racing and platform games.

All you have to do to win one of these fantastic games is answer the following question: In what Welsh town is USM based?

Send your answers to Mobile Games competition, c/o Pontypool Free Press, Portland Buildings, Commercial Street, Pontypool NP4 6JS before Friday, March 5 or email them to pontypoolnews@gwent-wales.co.uk

The winners of the games will be selected at random once the closing date for the competition has been reached.

The winners will then be contacted to advise them of how to claim the prize.
