Goytre 0 Cwmaman 3
THREE goals in the last 14 minutes of time ended a shabby game of football at Plough Road as Goytre slipped to a disappointing defeat against mid-table Cwmaman.
Chairman and former manager, Paul Greenhalgh summed the match up saying: "It was one of those games where we just never looked like scoring."
Although the scoreline didn't reflect the game as both teams were as drab as each other. Three breaks at the end of the game were all that separated the two sides.
Goytre had chances to get back into the game after Cwmaman took the lead in the 75th minute. Ian Rosser went through on goal, but opted too wide and his shot was saved. Steve Collett's powerful effort also went close, shading the bar.
"We just weren't at the races," admitted Greenhalgh.
