GOYTRE are hoping to pick up all three points this Saturday at home to Pentwyn Dynamo's.
But the Plough Road side are short on match practice after playing only one game in four weeks and chairman Paul Greenhalgh admitted he'd be happy with just a draw.
The Welsh League side's scheduled game against Fields Park on Saturday was cancelled because of a frozen pitch.
Greenhalgh said the side was hungry to play after the previous Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Cwmaman.
"We've played only one match in the last four weeks and that's not good for building consistency. The main thing on Saturday against Pentwyn is we get a result of some sort. If we get a win then that's a bonus," said Greenhalgh.
The two sides drew 2-2 last month with Andy Walsh and Steve Collett getting the Goytre goals.
Manager Steve Morgan has a full squad to choose from and despite lacking that match fitness, Goytre should get all three points from the game if they play at their best. Saturday's game kicks off at 3pm.
