Tutshill Carnival success

TUTSHILL'S premiere Carnival was met with a huge response when crowds gathered to join in the May Day spectacular on Monday.

The beautifully decorated processional floats started off from Wye Dean School, travelling along Beachley Road, where they joined the rest of the entertainment at the Recreational Ground.

Local groups took central stage to demonstrated martial arts, dance and gymnastics, as well as other activities.

Among the main attractions were an inflatable Gladiator arena, padded sumo wrestling a human gyroscope and a rodeo bull - while a beer tent supplied drinks for the thirsty revellers.
