With so much space, Lynette is now able to show more of her designs than before. Not that the lack of it was a damper on the company's progress previously. The move to The Highway has seen an increased awareness of Lynette's design skills as well as fitting and making the actual curtains.

Cwmbran Fabrics is far from a new kid on the block. It was started some 13 years ago and has knocked up an impressive list of satisfied customers from all over Wales and the UK, including local MPs Paul Murphy and Don Touhig. Lynette believes in keeping a record of everything the company has done and tucked away in her office are six valuable portfolios - pictures that prove Cwmbran Fabrics can do a first-class job.

So, what's the cost? Those luxury fabrics start at £10 a metre and go up to £50. But, as Lynette explained: "There is something for everyone here. Although we have raised our image it doesn't mean that we cannot help those people who are not up for a high budget."
