Ellie picked for Wales

Chepstow Comprehensive School pupil Ellie Hereford has been selected to represent the Wales Under 13s Girl Cricket team.

She will play regular matches against different counties throughout the summer.

Ellie is a Year 7 pupil and is primarily a batter. She also plays cricket for Sudbrook (mixed team) and Gwent Girls.

Head of Girls P.E. Mrs Carole Cole said "This is a fantastic achievement for Ellie - we wish her all the best in her matches for Wales."
