Chepstow RFC's coaching offer

Chepstow RFC is offering aspiring rugby coaches the opportunity to attend a free WRU Preliminary Coaching Course.

The WRU insist coaches are trained and competent, all coaches from Mike Ruddock to the local under 8s coach start with the Preliminary Award.

The course will be held during the summer at Chepstow's impressive club facilities and will run by WRU Coaching Development Staff; at the end of the course successful attendees will hold a recognised coaching award. Attendees should be over 17 and reasonably fit.

The club's Rugby Co-ordinator Brian Wilson emphasised that the course is open to anyone interested in taking up coaching and not just members of Chepstow RFC

Brian said: "As part of the wider rugby community we recognise that someone has got to provide opportunities of this sort; obviously we would welcome with open arms anyone interested in coaching at the club"
