Caldicot Ladies back in old routine

MONMOUTHSHIRE'S biggest ladies football team begins pre-season training tonight keen to attract new players.

Caldicot Town Ladies finished fourth in the Welsh League last season picking up some impressive results over Wales' top sides including UWIC and Neath.

Managed by Rachel Czajkowski the side has big plans for the forthcoming season with high hopes of a place in the league's top three.

Despite boasting a squad of talented female footballers Czajkowski is nore concerned on building her squad's numbers than actual talent.

"If there are girls out there who just want to come along for a kick around or to get fit then that's fine. We're a very friendly club and all the girls here are easy to get on with. It's just a great laugh with a good competitive spirit," said the Town chief.

Training kicks off tonight at 6.30pm at the Jubilee Way ground in Caldicot (lower pitch) and continues there after on that same time and time. For more information contact Rachel on 07751332869.
