And children attending the event can test their strength in a fun tug of war with a steamroller.
The Vintage Club have also organised a cavalcade of the vintage vehicles through the streets of Caldicot during the two-day event.
Also taking part in this years Festival will be demonstrations from the Gwent Police dog team, and Police helicopter will fly into the Castle grounds, where members of the public will have the chance to have a closer inspection. There will also be a demonstration from the Fire Service with their fire engine.
On site will also be a car boot sale area, medieval games, children's soft play area, charity stalls, craft fair, open market, plus a fun fair, and a variety of refreshments.
Visitors can also visit the castle between 11am and 5pm on both days, where a historical re-enactment presented by C17th Life and Times will take place.
The Sunday Event will close with a peel of bells from St. Mary's Church at 5.45pm, followed by a community Songs of Praise Service, accompanied by the Severn Tunnel Band, starting at 6pm.
