PONTYPOOL are in talks to sign two Australian-based players - Bradley Neho and Duane Luki.
Both players arrived in Pontypool on Monday and if all goes to plan they could be registered to play in Saturday's game at home to Llanelli.
Duane Luki is a powerful and experienced centre from New Zealand. He has played at the highest level in Australia having started with the world famous ACT Brumbies. Fellow Kiwi Bradley Neho is a respected prop known for his high-octane performances.
The two players have been recommended by former Wales and Cardiff coach Alec Evans.
Club director Arthur Crane said: "We will see what they are like in training and whether they are comfortable here too.
"At the moment, though, they look like to very good signings and this is another clear indication that the club is taking steps forward."
