League fixtures hit by weather

Both the First and Second XI fixtures fell foul of the weather.

The First XI were relishing the chance to get stuck into First Division high flyers Coed Eva Athletic, in the County Motors Cup, knowing that there were no points at stake and to try and play free flowing football, which the side was so accustomed to last season.

The Second XI was on the road against Abergavenny Thursdays, with this fixture being the top one of the day in Division Two, Race in second and Thursdays in third.

This Saturday's scheduled First XI game is an away fixture against the in-form Abertillery Bluebirds in the Gwent County League Division Two.

There may be a change though, due to the cancellation of the County Motors Cup Match on Saturday, but when going to press it was still a league fixture.

The Second XI face a home fixture versus Llanarth B, with the side hoping to repeat their win early on the season, with an 8-2 victory. All squad members are asked to meet at the club for 1.30pm; any problems please let another member know or contact the following numbers.
