Games off at Race

For the second consecutive week both sides at the Race had to go without a game, as the Race pitch could not recover in time from the poor weather of late to play the rearranged First XI County Motors Cup fixture versus Coed Eva Athletic.

The Second XI's fixture was postponed midweek to make way for the rearranged cup fixture.

Both teams have hard fixtures during the month of November, although the First XI do benefit from home advantage in three out of four fixtures.

First XI fixtures for November Saturday 6: Marshfield (a), Gwent FA Amateur Cup Round One. Kick off 2pm. Saturday, 13th: Llanhilleth (h), League. Kick off 2.15pm. Saturday 20: West Pontnewydd (h), League. Kick off 2.15pm. Saturday 27: Cefn Fforest (h), League. Kick off 2.15pm. Second XI fixtures for November Saturday 6: PILCS B (h), League. Kick off 2.15pm. Saturday 13: Sebastopol B (a), A Jones Benevolent Cup - Quarter-finals. Kick off 2pm. Saturday 20: Pontypool Town A (a), Open Cup Round Two. Kick off 2pm. Saturday 27: Gilwern & District B (a), League. Kick off 2.15pm.

The club's management request that all players assemble at the club at the new meeting time of 12.15pm from this Saturday until the end of February due to the change in kick off times to 2.15pm for league fixtures and 2.00pm for cup fixtures.

If players are unable to make this time, but are able to make the game, please inform a club member prior to the Saturday, so that there will be no delay in selecting squads, if any side needs to travel a distance for the game.
