Mardy scored three goals in the first half to claim all the points from a 3-0 win over visitors Pontypool Town. The goal-scorers for Mardy were Aaron Davies, Jonathan Davies and James Copeland.

In the A Jones & Co (Usk) Ltd Benevolent Cup quarter-final matches, Race cruised to a 6-0 away win over local rivals Sebastopol. For Race, Paul Hayward hit a hat-trick, Chris Bartlett, Craig Russell and Craig Rosser chipped in with one apiece.

Gilwern & District B booked their place in the semi-finals with a 3-1 home win over Abergavenny Thursdays. Ross Fury put Thursdays 1-0 up after just two minutes. Gareth Curtis put Gilwern B level at 1-1 after 15 minutes when he scored from a 25-yard right foot volley.
