Remembering our local war heroes

TORFAEN remembered the wartime sacrifices made by its sons and daughters at services across the borough.

A two-minute silence was held at Pontypool's war memorial gates on Thursday.

Veterans stood next to young people as they paraded proudly through Blaenavon and Pontypool on Sunday.
