Victory after eight

Cwmffrwdoer 8 Fairfield 2

The 'Doer dominated this midweek derby scoring eight of the ten goals.

In the first half they played controlled, penetrating football, scoring four goals without reply.

Scott Wilson struck two, Kristian Howells grabbed one as did Mathew Jackson with a spectacular 25-yard lob.

The back four of Ricky Malson, Kevin Lewis, Kevin Davies and Daniel Jenkins were outstanding throughout and Andrew Davies was immense linking defence and midfield.

In the second half the 'Doer increased their lead to six with a goal from Ryan Waite and Scott Wilson adding another to complete his hat-trick. But the visitors never gave up and two goals in 10 minutes from Mike Bessant gave them hope with 25 minutes left.

That hope was dashed though after the 'Doer weathered the storm and scored two more goals from Ryan Waite and Kristian Howells to complete the rout.
