Pupils scoop Celtic prize again

STUDENTS from Abersychan school have won the national Celtic Challenge award for the second year.

The competition is for students seeking the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the contest took place in Crickhowell.

Young people from across Wales showed their skills in a variety of outdoor pursuits in a competition lasting 24 hours.

25 schools were represented and Abersychan were determined to keep up their previous form.

Team leader Cath Jones praised the team for their dedication.

She said: "The victory is all about everyone working for each other."
