Prescoed FC triumphed in the Free Press Cup Final thanks largely to a blistering early spell that saw them net three goals in the opening twenty minutes.
The Division Two champions were in front in the sixth minute when Craig Hughes glanced a header passed keeper Simon Harvey.
And Prescoed doubled their lead inside a minute with another Hughes header before Grant Watkins added another.
But a Michael Harper goal gave Fairfield hope and a Glenn Rees penalty put them within touching distance of Prescoed as the first half drew to a close. But any thoughts of a comeback were short-lived as Grant Watkins netted a further three times after the break and keeper Marcus Harris converted a penalty to take Prescoed's tally to seven.
Michael Harper did pull one back for Fairfield but it proved to be nothing more than a consolation.
