Dolphin David is on Olympic form

Pontypool Dolphins would like to congratulate long-term member David Cox on his selection to represent Wales in the Special Olympics.

The event is being held in Glasgow with nineteen teams taking part.

David, from Griffithstown, has an amazing opportunity to show what he can do. He will be swimming in a very modern ten- lane, 50-metre pool in Tallcross Leisure Centre.

David, whose main focus will be in his free-style events, will also be taking part in medley and relay events. If his past form is anything to go on, David is likely to be bringing home some medals.

The event is taking place between July 3 and 8 and it is the first time it has been held in Scotland. All the club wish him the best of luck.
