At Conway Road, Torfaen Tigers failed to exact revenge over the Cardiff Demons in a game that ended 34 all after a late minute penalty from the Demons' Gareth Jones.
The sides ended with six tries each with Torfaen's Stephan Jones, Matt Entwhistle, Scott Bendon, Gareth Davies, Steve Matley and the evergreen Nolan Nicklin all crossing the whitewash. Entwhistle also kicked five goals.
There were impressive performances from Matley, Marks, Smith and man of the match Matthew Francombe.
However, the Tigers will rue missed scoring opportunities and indiscipline in a game they should have won easily against a limited Demon's side.
The referee was inconsistent in his interpretation of the tackle area and this led to the Tigers losing their shape and allowing the Demon's back into the game.
However, the Tigers remain unbeaten in their last four games and will hope to extend this next Saturday when they travel to Ystalefela to tackle Dai Hawkins' Swansea Valley Miners.
