Marks and Sparks to redesign local store

Marks & Spencer have announced plans to re-design of its store in Cwmbran, as part of the next stage of modernising its chain.

Work will begin on July 25 and is scheduled for completion in October. The 19,555 sq ft store will be given a completely new design including atmospheric lighting, easy-to-read store signage and free-flow walkways.

Extra space will be given to the clothing sections and the per una range for women as well as the men's Autograph and suits ranges will be added.

The food hall will feature new black flooring and fridges.

The Cwmbran store will also open a caf called Caf Revive.

The store will continue to trade throughout the redevelopment.

Jackie Powell, Marks & Spencer Cwmbran Store Manager, commented: "We're delighted to be creating a fresh, new environment for our customers with great products, improved services and introducing a Caf Revive.

"This redevelopment affirms our continued commitment to Cwmbran."
