POLICE arrested a 19-year-old man after the tyres on 30 cars in Trevethin were damaged last Thursday.
A local man was arrested on Friday afternoon in connection with the incident and released on police bail.
The cars were vandalised along Newman Road in Trevethin.
The incident follows one on May 27 when the tyres on over 60 cars were damaged in the same area. Police arrested four local men in relation to that incident.
They were released on police bail pending further inquiries.
A task force of five officers was recently stationed in the Trevethin area to calm local fears about anti-social behaviour.
An officer at Trevethin said extra police had been on patrol at night since the latest incident.
"Apart from this recent incident, levels of crime and anti-social behaviour in the Trevethin area are declining," he said.
