Appeal after teenager is injured

FOUR local men have been released on police bail pending further inquiries into an assault, which has left one 18-year-old man in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

Officers say a fight broke out between four men in the vicinity of The Pantry, at Greenmeadow, at around 4.50pm on January 24.

Police are looking for a weapon believed to have been used, possibly a blade of some kind.

A spokesman said two 16-year-olds and two 18-year-olds have been released on bail, one of the 18-year-olds remains in hospital.
