Saturday's league programme was a mixture of quarter final cup games and league games. Pitch conditions were very good following last weeks snow and ice.
Two quarter final matches were played in the P&P Pest Control open cup. Last seasons finalists New Inn were at home to Clydach Wasps A. Billy Day gave New Inn a 1-0 half time lead. Two minutes into the second half Jordan Jones put the Wasps level. New Inn responded by hitting the posts twice in quick succession, but the Wasps scored twice in 15 minutes with two gaols by Matthew Edward in the 60th and 75th minutes and Clydach Wasps go into the semi-final draw.
Govilon visited Pontypool Town A and knocked the home side out by winning the match 6-1. Govilon led 3-1 at half time. The goals for Govilon came from a Jason Williams hat-trick, Dean Morgan, Stuart Morgan and James Powell chipped in with a goal apiece. Pontypool Town A's goal was scored by Gavin Hopkins.
One quarter final game was played in the A Jones & Co Usk Ltd Langdon Cup which saw Lower New Inn beat Llanarth 2-1.
