Ceri sets sights on gold

COMMONWEALTH Games shooter Ceri Dallimore was due to be back in action this morning looking to improve on her performance in the 50m rifle prone pairs event.

Dallimore, from Cwmbran, took the gold medal for Team Wales in the pairs discipline at Manchester in 2002 alongside Johanne Brekke. But the duo were unable to hold on to their Commonwealth title by repeating their success at Melbourne last weekend, instead placing fifth overall.

Dallimore and Brekke scored a combined total of 1154 on Saturday morning.
