Something for the children

Spring seems to have finally sprung. The nights are getting longer and the weekends are now the time to fill up with fun things to do around the county.

If you are looking for inspiration then take a look at Children's Monmouthshire, a publication packed with ideas for things to do with, or without, youngsters.

Try one of the many walks it recommends which are buggy/family friendly. A walk with the children allows them to let off steam, enjoy some beautiful sights and is completely free of charge!

Children's Monmouthshire has more than 1,300 entries of places to visit and things to do in and around Monmouthshire.

The information is organised into 10 colour coded chapters for easy access.

The book was launched by local mums Debs Hancock and Rita Larsen in August 2004 and since then it has proved to be invaluable to anyone in the area with children.

More than 2,000 copies have already been sold. For more information visit www.outofthehouse.co.uk.
