THE oldest national youth orchestra in the world celebrates its 70th birthday with a special gala concert at St David’s Hall on Monday June 13.
Starting at 7pm, the National Youth Orchestra of Wales will mark this remarkable milestone with guest harpists Catrin Finch and Anne Denholm (harpist to HRH The Prince of Wales).
Acclaimed conductor Grant Llewellyn will lead a professional orchestra of NYOW alumni representing some of the UKs finest orchestral musicians.
Featuring a popular programme including Tchaikovsky, this 70th anniversary concert is not to be missed!
