A YOGA studio will be celebrating its first birthday next weekend, with a Health and Happiness day.

Hot Yoga Health, on North Street in Baneswell, will have been in Newport for a year on Saturday, October 13, and are offering a free fun day, between 10am and 5pm, to celebrate.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample free yoga classes, listen to free health talks, and have free reflexology tasters (such as an Indian Head Massage or Neck and Shoulder massage).

There will also be a food and drinks stall, arts and crafts, and much more, with one staff member painting a mural on the day.

For the health talks, by Carrie Jones, Kathryn O'Shea, Bernadette Davies, and Oriana Shepherd, visitors can just drop in.

These talks will be 10 minutes, based on health topics, including homeopathy, health, food, essential oils and life coaching.

Therapy sessions can be signed up for on the day, but yoga and pilates classes must be booked in advance, with spaces filling up fast.

The yoga studio has a private car park if you are driving, and is a short walk from Newport Bus Station and Newport Train Station for anybody travelling on public transport.

Hot Yoga Health offers heated and non-heated classes, priding itself on offering yoga health for everyone.

If you can't make it on the day, but are still interested in trying yoga out, Hot Yoga Health offers 20 days of unlimited classes for £20.
