Hancock's finest hour

Hancock (12A) **** - Will Smith, Jason Bateman, Charlize Theron and Johnny Galecki.
NO its not a bio-pic about the late, much loved tragic British comedian, but, after more than a decade on the back-burner, the story of down and out sarcastic alcoholic superhero John Hancock who finally makes it on to the big screen.
And it seems this amiable action comedy has been worth the wait.
The ever reliable Will Smith is on good form as the eponymous superhuman anti-hero who is impervious to bullets and with the power of supersonic flight.
Hated by the masses, Hancock's life is turned around after he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey (Jason Bateman) who sets about helping with his rehabilitation.
