NEWPORT will celebrate its third successive Comedy Port festival this year with top acts like household name Al Murray and Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Tim Key in town.

It takes place all over the city centre between Monday, October 8, and Saturday, October 13. There will be up-andcoming acts, alternative comedians, daytime acts, sketch shows, innovative standup, musical comedy, funny films, fringe acts, pop-up venues and much more.

Murray’s character The Pub Landlord will be at The Riverfront as part of his The Only Way is Epic tour on Wednesday, October 10, at 7.30pm. The multi-award winning performer promises to solve broken Britain’s problems.

Key is said to be a star of the future and brings his musings to The Riverfront with his new show Masterslut on Tuesday, October 9, at 8.30pm.
