The Liberty Stadium Swansea hosts one of the biggest rock bands in the world this summer, when the multiple Platinum selling, multiple Grammy and BRIT award winning Kings of Leon descend on Wales on July
The Swansea date has been added to a handful of UK dates for the Followill family band from Tennessee, before they embark on a massive tour of the US in the summer.
This summer's tour follows the release of Kings of Leon's Grammy nominated sixth album Mechanical Bull, which entered the UK charts at Number 1, their fourth album in a row to achieve this feat.
Amongst the band’s numerous accolades are the Grammy awards for Record of the Year, Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, and Best Rock Song, along with several NME Awards and BRITS for Best International Band and Best International Album. They have headlined the world's biggest festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Coachella, and this summer headline Sunday night at the Isle of Wight festival.
