The Welsh Proms 2014 will present ‘Festival of Folk' a celebration of music with workshops, master classes and have-a-go sessions with live bands on July 20.

There will be opportunities for all musicians and toe tappers to bring their instruments to join and perform classic folk tunes.

Enjoy live music from 1pm with Allan yn y Fan, DnA, Olion Byw plus many more great acts to be announced. The day will be rounded off by a live gig from Jamie Smith’s Mabon at 8pm which will bring the festival to a close.

Join Susan Berry, Resident Harpist at The Harp Centre of Wales, for a fun workshop followed by the chance to get together at the end of the day to play the tunes you have learned in a session with other musicians and learners.
