BILL Kenwright’s new production of Ruth Rendell’s A Judgement In Stone visits Cardiff’s New Theatre from April 4 to 8.
The story follows Eunice who struggles to fit in. When she joins a wealthy family as their housekeeper the very reason for her awkwardness, long hidden and deeply buried, leads inexorably to a terrible tale of murder in cold blood - on Valentine’s Day. Ruth Rendell’s plot unravels a lifetime of deceit, despair and cover-ups which, when revealed, brings a shocking revelation almost as grizzly as murder itself.
A Judgement In Stone features an all-star cast of familiar faces from the worlds of TV and music including Coronation Street’s Andrew Lancel, Heartbeat’s Sophie Ward, 60s pop star Mark Wynter, Not Going Out’s Deborah Grant, and Blue’s Anthony Costa.
Tickets are available from newtheatrecardiff.co.uk or by calling the Box Office on (029) 2087 8889.
