WELSH folk band Calan will be bringing high energy routines and infectious rhythms to the Borough Theatre in Abergavenny.
Fiddles, guitar, accordion, bagpipes and step dancing will explode into life at the concert on Saturday, May 26 starting at 7.30pm.
The band of five has played at concerts and festivals across Europe and America after rising to prominence with their debut album, Bling.
The group has aimed to raise the profile of Welsh traditional music on to an international scene, and has introduced a new generation of music fans to the genre.
They started out by busking to raise money to pay for university fees but soon found themselves performing alongside Bryn Terfel and Sting at the Royal Albert Hall.
