A MUST-SEE show this month, the performance had all the right elements of music, dance and style to make you want to head back to America in the 1960’s.

It follows the story of four boys finding their rise to stardom despite fighting problems within their personal life and money issues. They were all highly talented performers and where their Jersey accents were spot-on.

All the big hits Beggin, Oh What a Night, Walk Like a Man, Bye Bye Baby and Big Girls Don’t Cry were included. These songs were the main part of the show where Tim Driesen as Frank Valli’s voice range was outstanding.

Stephen Webb as guitarist Tommy DeVito played his role particularly well as the rogue band member who wanted his band to thrive but also pushed them further and further into debt.

The female cast as waitresses and floozies made the most of their characters but were justifiably in a male-oriented show.

As a whole, the sets, choreography, costumes and lighting added to the production allowing you not only to observe but also to engage with the real-life characters.

At the end of the night, everyone in the audience rose to their feet and gave the performance a standing ovation.
