ANTON and Erin started off the Cardiff leg of their tour in their usual highly polished way, supported by professional singer Lance Ellington (another Strictly regular) and the London Concert Orchestra, directed by Richard Balcombe.

Erin and Anton made a grand entrance to Ballerina, the Nat King Cole number.

Erin was wearing a gorgeous black and silver gown bejewelled with sparkles, the first of a huge number of dress changes during the show.
The show is not just dance, there is a lot of chat, most of which is about Strictly. Anton said how delighted he was to be in the final, joking that he never before realized before that the show continued after Blackpool.

This show was presented slightly differently to their previous tours. There was more audience input and singing and numbers performed by the backing dancers, which really worked well.

The London Concert Orchestra also played several solo numbers, all of which went down very well. In the second half Anton and Lance dueted on Two Of A Kind, then Lance sang New York, New York in a slightly belated tribute to Frank Sinatra's centenary, which had the audience joining in.

Anton and Erin then performed a fantastic Argentinian tango, during which you could have heard a pin drop, before the superb finale to Too Darn Hot. It really was, as usual, marvelously done, highly professional, I could happily watch it all again tonight.
