THE sun shone as Bad Manners came to town for a Grand National special.

After a day of racing at Chepstow Racecourse, the suited and booted mingled with the Fred Perry die hard fans as 2Rude warmed the crowd.

The marquee filled up and when Bad Manners came on stage the unique lead singer, Butsa Bloodvesel, broke into their first song, This is Ska.
My Girl Lollipop had everyone singing along and Lorraine got the room bouncing.

It’s hard not to get caught by the fun ska beats of Bad Manners songs and they were the perfect soundtrack to the day which had already been full of the highs and lows of racing.

There was a musical interlude and Busta left the stage as the band played on.

He wasn’t gone long and the suited Busta came back for a rousing version of Frankie Valli’s Can’t Take My Eyes Off You that got everyone singing along. So did Ne-ne na-na na-na nu-nu - a Bad Manners classic where Busta showed off his tongue (as anyone who has seen it knows, it’s bigger than most).

While the gig was tamer than many Bad Manners shows, it was still a fun and frantic evening of dancing of singing.

They closed with Lip up Fatty and their unique can-can, that ends every show, it was smiles all round in Chepstow.
