Yes it’s that time of year again folks when we get the family together and join our friends to celebrate the Christmas festivities. So what better way to help celebrate Christmas than coming to see a pantomime with a difference?
Based on the original Christmas Classic by Charles Dickens, here is a different take on the traditional festive favourite. Writer and director Paul Howells has adapted “A Christmas Carol” from being a dark Christmas Story to being a Pantomime filled with great family fun with lots of frivolity! And never before has there been anything quite like it!
Set in Victorian England, "A Christmas Carol" follows grumpy old miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, who over the years has changed from being good to being a horrible, mean old man. He is visited by three spirits who hope to change the error of his ways, but will they succeed???
This spin on the traditional Christmas story promises not to be as dark as the original story and is filled with fun for all the family.
Performances start this Friday 6th December at 7.30pm at Llanyrafon Church Hall in Cwmbran and then continue on Saturday 7th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th at 7.30pm. With a 2.30pm matinee performance on both of the Saturdays. With tickets at only £5.
So don’t be a Scrooge, come see “A Christmas Carol – The Panto!”
