BLAENAU Gwent's own hit movie A Bit Of Tom Jones is set to return to the Market Hall cinema, Brynmawr this week - but for one night only.
The film, which received its world premiere at the Brynmawr cinema back in 2007, is to return in response to overwhelming local public demand - following the film's unexpected success in UK cinemas.
During the film's previous week long run at the Market Hall last November, it out performed Hollywood blockbusters including the hit Michael Jackson film 'This Is It'.
The film's Brynmawr based writer/director Peter Watkins-Hughes is delighted to be returning to his local cinema, "I grew up watching films in The Market Hall back when the great Tony Warr was in charge. It is my favourite cinema in whole world - the place that inspired me to want to become a film maker!"
A Bit of Tom Jones is playing the Market Hall Cinema on Sunday, February 7 at 7pm.
