Beds wanted
THERE are 230 visitors coming from Abergavenny's French twin town of Beaupreau for the twinning festival in July, and about 150 from the German twin town of Oestringen.
Many host families have been found for the huge party of European visitors, but there are still 15 from France who do not yet have a bed and around 50 from Germany, including the dancers who will be entertaining during the weekend.
They arrive in Abergavenny on Friday, July 11 and have a full weekend of activities planned, including the annual town carnival on the Saturday.
If you can help with accommodation for the three nights of their visit - only bed and breakfast will be needed - please ring Chris Watson on 01873 853894.
