Pontypool teen’s race case adjourned

A PONTYPOOL teenager accused of a racist attack had his court case adjourned.

Adam Haynes, 18, of Channel View, Penygarn, was due to appear at Caerphilly Magistrates’ Court yesterday, charged with racially/religiously aggravated common assault, using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, common assault and racially/religiously aggravated harassment.

The court heard Haynes has been admitted to hospital and his case was adjourned until February 26.
