Chepstow brothers' Severn Bridge crossing raises £300

TWO brothers from Chepstow have raised more than £300 for Comic Relief by challenging their school friends to cross the Severn Bridge last Saturday.
Dribbling footballs, riding bikes and wearing tutus, 14 children crossed the old bridge alongside Tiernan Conlon, nine, and his 10- year-old brother Simon, who have raised £350 and counting ahead of Red Nose Day.
The boys began by selling Red Noses at Dell Primary School where they attend, said their mother, Morag Conlon. “It was all Tiernan’s idea,” said Mrs Conlon.
“He has had me printing things to hand out at school and it is so good for their confidence.
“Saturday went really well and the boys were really pleased. The kids will definitely be telling their teachers about it, some of whom have sponsored them as well.”
