A friend took a decision to take his own life a few years ago. I have no idea what turmoil must be going on to consider life not worth living, but I really hope this lady gets the support she needs to make her want to give her life another go.

A sentiment millions share and how brave of you to say so in public. I too hope she recovers fully and gets the help she needs.

I fail to see how anyone could fall off the bridge into the river. Surely the word that should have been used is jumped!

This is a term used at this stage of the investigation - just show some compassion - someones in obvious distress to do such a thing (see first post).

For crying out loud. Trust some pointless moron to make cheap political capital out of a situation you know absolutely nothing about.

What is the point of this silly flippant statement - you have no idea why she did it typical comment to blame the government! Everyone is being pushed hard - life is tough full stop - nothing new there! The samaritans will tell you that there are a number of factors that push people to the edge.

I totally feel for anyone who feels that they have to end it and their families who have to pick up the pieces - and I'm speaking from experience.

I hope this poor woman survives and get's all the help and support she needs to rebuild her life. SARA and the other rescue services do a fantastic job. My thoughts go out to her family and her children if she has any.
