THE full line-up for an annual music festival in Shirenewton has been announced.

Shirefest 2013, which is being sponsored by the Free Press, takes place at The Huntsman Hotel with 22 bands and singers performing across three stages.

This year’s acts include rockband Fireroad from Aberdare who have just released an album, One Sick Lizard, Live Loungers, Nataley Simpson, Birdcage and Shootin’ The Crow.

Stage one is in the car park, stage two is in the function room, with a smaller, more intimate, stage three found in a bay window in the bar.

And with film fun put on in yet another room for children this is a day which, thanks to being put together by families, is aimed at children.

The event is raising money for three charities, Help for Heroes, Holly Hedge animal sanctuary and Shirenewton and Mynyddbach Fields Association (SAMFAL) The festival takes place on June 29 from 1pm.

Tickets are £10 from www.shirefest.eventbrite.com
